Alexandra Gerteis
Wine Bar Owner & Entrepreneur
With over 20 years of experience in the wine industry, in France, the United Kingdom and the United States, Alexandra has spent her career sharing her knowledge with the world.
Starting off her career as a sales person for a wine merchant in London, United Kingdom, Alexandra worked her way up in the industry until she became the wine export manager for one of the best co-op in Alsace, France.
In October 2009 she moved to San Francisco, California and opened Etcetera Wine Bar. Since its opening, it has been featured in countless press articles and has received outstanding reviews on both Yelp, Google and Facebook.
Now certified Master Sommelier by the Court of Master Sommeliers Americas, Alexandra wishes to expand her brand of a quality wine bar offering wines from all around the world as well as delicious tapas, charcuterie boards and flammekueches in a cozy atmosphere.
